Service Dog Training

Service dogs are dogs that are task trained to assist an individual with a disability. These dogs must go through rigorous training to do the job their handler needs them to do for them. Our goal is to help these handlers be paired with a dog with the correct temperament to be successful at this job.

We offer two programs but use AKC's CGC tests to give service dog handlers a goal to work towards throughout their training. We require our Service Dog clients to earn all the CGC titles as they progress through their training, as a way to show them how far they've come and what they need to work on alongside their task training.
